The perfect pairings of breads and cheeses can be made here at Atwater's. We specialize in both American and European artisanal and farmhouse cheeses. Our mission is to supply our customers with a variety of quality, mouth-watering cheeses that have been carefully crafted using traditional and environmentally responsible methods. We have a thoughtful selection of cow's, sheep's, and goat's milk cheeses ranging in styles from young and mild to aged and BOLD. While highlighting amazing local cheeses as often as possible, we never forget to stock up on a selection of old world favorites.

  •   Stoltzfus Cheddar-- a sweet yet mildly sharp cheddar made just for Atwaters at the Stoltzfus organic dairy farm in Pennsylvania!
  •   Point Reyes Original Blue--quickly becoming a nationwide favorite, this is a creamy, full-flavored blue cheese made from raw cow's milk at an organic farmstead operation in California overlooking Tomales Bay.

Farm Fresh Milk

We also provide a full line of fresh milk from Trickling Springs Creamery. This cooperative of farmers, located in Cumberland Valley, treats its cows as family. The cows are grass fed, and are never given hormones, chemicals or antibiotics. Most milk selections are available as certified organic. The farmers also use glass bottles when possible -- not only does it protect the pure flavor of milk, but reduces waste.
