Good Food Award Winner!

The award goes to...

The Good Food Awards have named their winners! We are so proud to announce that our homemade Strawberry Hibiscus Jam has won its category!

The Good Food Awards are a competition out of San Francisco that judges food submissions from companies across the country. They honor taste, authenticity and sustainability. Now in its 8th year, awards are given to winners in 15 categories!

A traditional process

Our jam is made at our Big Kitchen in Baltimore with fresh and many local ingredients. To make the perfect batch, our jam team starts with a mixture of fresh fruits. Using a traditional copper jam pot, they macerate the fruit with sugar overnight. The next day they simmer the fruit in its juice until it’s jam.

Our Strawberry Hibiscus Jam features fresh fruit, made from scratch apple pectin, organic hibiscus flowers and organic sugar. Our strawberries are from One Straw Farm in White Hall, Maryland. Our homemade apple pectin used granny smith apples from Three Springs Fruit Farm in Aspers, Pennsylvania.

With the combination of fresh ingredients, a traditional process, hard work and all of our customers we were able to be the recipients of this great award! Thank you to our customers and The Good Food Awards!
